Oil Lines & Trenches
Highly experienced, professional and reliable heating engineers
New oil lines can be installed via digging a trench or pneumatic moling (trenchless technology). Moling is especially useful for going beneath finished surfaces such as block paving, under driveways or manicured lawns.
Moling minimises mess and disruption and is a very neat and tidy way of installing new oil lines beneath the ground
Trenches
The more traditional way of digging a trench is also adopted, Depending on the site this is done either by and or mini digger.
We always re instate turf as neatly as possible.
About us
iB Oil Tanks is a division of iB Heating and was born from a need from our customers.
We were often asked to replace, remove or install new oil tanks. This falls outside the scope and capabilities of most heating companies. We invested in specialised training and insurances, Hiab vehicles, oil transfer pumps and spare oil tanks to meet the need for oil tank services.
We identified a real lack of companies offering these crucial services especially with the heavy and bulky lifting that is often involved, we also invested in capabilities for emergency pump out services for leaking oil tanks in Kent and East Sussex and we have been called the 4th emergency service by our customers for this kind of emergency.
We can respond promptly to a leaking oil tank and minimise property and environmental damage that can otherwise be caused, not to mention very expensive clean up operations often with the environment agency’s involvement.
Since our entering into these services this side of our business has gone from strength to strength with hundreds of satisfied customers in the region.
We now find that a lot of people are being left with un used oil tanks in their gardens following installation of new gas boilers or heat pumps. We are happy to remove these tanks as not only are they an environmental disaster waiting to happen they can also be an eyesore.
We can manage the safe removal and responsible disposal of both plastic and steel oil tanks along with any remaining contents.
